Genuine Vegetable Parchment (GVP) is a premium high quality baking paper made in France. Treated with a silicone layer for superior non-stick, heat-resistant, and moisture-resistant properties. Made from refined pulp, GVP contains no additives and is entirely cellulose based, offering a natural, eco-friendly parchment capable of withstanding temperatures up to 220°C (428°F), GVP will not melt or burn, even in high-heat conditions. Additionally, it is free from chlorine and dioxins, making it a safer and more sustainable choice for baking. GVP can be customized to any size subject to MOQ, providing versatile performance for all baking needs.

It is achieved in two steps: first the paper making and the parchmentization.

Sustainability built into each fiber:

GVP is biodegradable and produced from responsibly sourced and renewable wood pulp, certified according to Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC^®) standards. Additionally, as it is made out of 100% cellulose fibers with no chemical additives, most of its variants are biodegradable and certified home compostable with OK COMPOST HOME from TÜV and industrially compostable with OK COMPOST from TÜV (EN13432). Moreover, it is certified as industrial compostable by the Biodegradable Products Institute^® (BPI).
